When I started writing this, I had the mind to talk about how I was doing. But after several attempts I've decided that I can't get my head to work with me on this, so I'm going to save that part for an other time. Instead I'll talk about the comic's progress (it is International Day Of Happiness after all, so my excuse could be not wanting to be ironic?).
Here's the thing. I've tried my best to be a bit productive again. I've picked up some of the Kickstarter work (we're actually making decent progress on that), I've sketched out two new scenes for Spindrift and I've almost finished the upcoming page. All things considered, it's not bad. But delay on the Kickstarter, and some gaps in the update schedule are inevitable. I hate that it is so, and I know you guys told me I shouldn't apologize, but I do really feel lousy about leaving you guys hanging so shortly after returning from hiatus. So much in fact, that I did something very unlike me. I assembled the troops and asked for help. With some encouragement from a dear friend I decided to ask my artist/comic colleges for guest art, comics, sketches and what not. Many of them already said they'd love to help out, which is wonderful. And a few have jumped to action right away, for which I am super grateful. Thank you guys!
I'll go ahead and add the first pieces right now and I'll keep posting this awesome guest-art in a dedicated part of the archive - alongside an irregular update schedule (I refuse to go on hiatus again *crosses arms*) until the backlog is gone and I am able to work full speed again.
I hope you guys like this solution!
