You guys all deserve a medal for your patience. I know that it's been a long wait and there's some things that we need to check off our list still before we will resume updating the comic. but we're getting very close to that point.
Besides the work I'm doing on Chapter 2, I'm also putting many hours into preparing the kickstarter campaign, it's rewards and of course making the book ready for print (I'm working on it's extra content atm). Expect more news about the campaign also, as we plan to post about our progress and will probably ask for your input on some matters!

I love designing props. Loooove it. I'm collecting some of the designs into the extra content part of Spindrift;Book 1. Here's one design that I haven't shown before (although you've seen it in the comic).
In the mean time I'm also expanding the wardrobe of some of our cast members. Here's a sketch I've made for a new look for Neva. It's still a work in progress. I try to stick to the color theme of her other outfits. If she looks like she's about to walk the runway, it's because Neva's just very fashionable, it's not at all because I used a fashion model as reference for the pose :).
Since I'm at it now, here's some more design work. This time for an house's (or part there of) interior. I started drawing in isometrics as experiment when I designed Alarina's temple. And ever since I design all the interiors for the comic in this way.
Below, is erm ... a sketch, for a thing that might or might not be on a thing that involves a dead tree ...*blink blink*.
And finally, some proof that I'm ALSO working on the actual comic: Here's some not-so-spoilery screen grabs from bits and pieces of the sketches for the upcoming pages.
